Cadillac Ranch Texas TX4357

USA - Amarillo, Texas. Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation and sculpture, was created in 1974 by Chip Lord, Hudson Marquez and Doug Michels (art group Ant Farm). The installation consists of Cadillac automobiles built from 1949 to 1963, half-buried in the ground. The installation was commissioned by Stanley Marsh 3, a Texan millionaire known for his patronage of artistic endeavors.
